EUREPGAP is a certified system for producers of fruit and vegetables developed by EUREP (Euro-Retailer Produce Working Group). The origins of the system date back to 1997, when the Euro-Retailer Fresh Organic Horticultural Produce Working Group decided to determine universally recognised and common requirements for Good Agricultural Practice.
The EUREPGAP documentation consists of:
• General Requirements (instructions on application, obtaining and maintaining certification and the associated rights and obligations, including annexes);
• Control Points - Compliance Criteria (all control points and compliance criteria that must be met by the applying farmer / group of producers, and which are checked and controlled in order to verify the compliance with requirements. This document is divided into 14 sections and contains: Basic Requirements marked red (47 checkpoints), secondary Requirements marked yellow (98 checkpoints) and Recommendations (65 checkpoints) marked green.
• Check List (contains checkpoints and is a tool for control and conformity assessment).

The EUREPGAP certificate obtained by the HAJDUK Company confirms that while participating in the international trade of agricultural products - we meet all the requirements of this system within the scope of cultivation and the mushroom trade. We monitor the quality of all technological factors that would affect the processes of mushroom growing as well as storage and transportation of the finished product to our customers.

The EUREPGAP Certificate obtained by the HAJDUK Company confirms that the entire production of mushrooms meets the principles of Good Agricultural Practice. Thanks to monitoring of the whole production process - from the quality of seeds through chemical analysis of soil, up to the harvest - we can offer our consumers a product with quality values recognized on the European markets.

GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE

Quality standards in the production of compost.

• With care towards the quality of the final product, being compost for mushrooms, we have worked out many quality standards at each stage of the production process.

• The high-quality of the substrate depends primarily on proper raw materials and their proper mixing. All raw materials used in production is inspected and evaluated both with the use of organoleptic analysis and laboratory testing. We use the best quality raw materials because only then are we able to maintain adequate standard of our compost.

• We are able to monitor the parameters of compost at many stages of production in our own laboratory. This gives us the possibility to continually improve and control the technological process.

• The key to a good compost is also proper pasteurization and overgrowing. We are able to supervise the process and achieve the desired effects thanks to the modern equipment of our facilities.

• It is very important for us to keep the hygienic regime within the whole facility. We have achieved a lot so far but we keep improving the hygiene procedures so that the final product can be free from competitive and pathogenic microorganisms.

• A great number of specialised machines is involved  in the technological process. We also care about the quality of work here, so most of them were created and built by us - strictly according to our needs.

• We appreciate feedback concerning our products. Our mushroom growing cellars provide us with very detailed information on the crops and the quality of the mushrooms. We have introduced a system of feedback from our external customers; we can further analyse the data concerning the manufacturing process and find areas that we can improve. We are committed not only to our own success but also to the success of our customers. We would like to sincerely thank our customers for their openness and cooperation in this matter.

Mushrooms - product quality standards.

We are certified by EurepGap. We obtained this certification thanks to the activities that we had undertaken from the very beginning by finding ways to improve the control and quality of mushrooms.
Mushrooms are very sensitive and highly demanding; they can be easily damaged. Keeping that in mind, a quality control system in our company includes checks at a few particularly important stages: at the time of harvesting and weighing of the product, at acceptance to the cooler and during the transportation of mushrooms to the customer. Each of the control stages follows strict procedures that are consistent with the valid certificate.
